PKE Meter

My latest piece of "New Wave" Ghostbuster gear, the PKE Meter version 4. This one features the scanning armatures on the right hand side, tilted at about a 15 degree angle to the main body and lit with blue LEDs. The viewscreen is also lit and slowly changes colors from red to blue to green and so on. All the LEDs are powered by a 9volt battery that it easily changed by unscrewing the back of the PKE body. A metal clip attaches the PKE to your belt, and since the body is nice and slim it won't take up much room. The knobs on the front and side all turn. The decals are custom designed in Photoshop and printed on quality vinyl. Paints used: - Krylon Fusion Satin Black - Krylon Metallic Chrome Aluminum - Tamiya Acrylic Clear Blue - Folkart Acrylic Metallic Silver Sterling First a basecoat of Satin Black for the body then Chrome Aluminum for the side knobs and scanning arms. The tubing over the armatures is Clear Blue. Silver Sterling was drybrushed on for a worn metal look and ground up pastel chalk was brushed into corners.
