Uniform

Say hello to the Hello Kitty Uniform! As a inspiration from FunkPunkTwang's Hello Kitty Pack, I had taken upon myself to make a uniform worthy of the name as well as the style of the pack so they can be worn in tandem. The suit is my first flightsuit from many years ago that I had retired and since left in storage. I started by removing the tan (aka piss yellow) color the best I could from the suit using both Rit Dye Remover and Bleach washes. Afterwards, I used Rit purple dye to set the color and the basic theme for the suit. Also taking a pair of cheap elbow pads (wish they were the real deals, but I couldn't afford them) and a spare pistol belt in my possession I dyed them a turquoise/light blue color to sell moreso the color scheme of the uniform. I will also be working on the nametag, the belt gizmo pouch (possibly gizmo based on the GB:CD gizmos) which will be painted pink, and adding a leg hose connector which will also be pink. The zippers, being a rothco suit and all, are going to need painting as well due to the fabric/material of the zippers will not change color with dye or bleaching. It's a bit of a setback, but hey, what ya gonna do? 5/5/11 - Initial photos with some completed stuff and some still in progress.
