They were very flimsy and flexible and tend to bend and warp.

Anyone have a unused gearbox assembly from a Rubies Trap? I’d like to 3d model it in Solidworks and print it out. I can add a motor, gearing, limit switches and a Arduino to handle the logic.
Be a nice to just drop these into the Spirit Traps since the Rubies are extremely scarce lately and Spirits…
I have about 7 sets of these, male/female. They look like a good candidate for the cannon plug connector that Spengler had on his pack to disconnect his wand. I used a much smaller version of this before the movie came out, but this one looks to be more correct sized..

Here’s my quick attempt at a reboot trap during my lunch today. Obviously the scale is off but this is R&D process here. I screwed up the handle area, I forgot to make the reduction so I’ll make another one tomorrow.

Is this the period correct side knob for the trap? I found a pile of them at work and it looks close to what I’ve seen on the traps, minus the color. Has two very small setscrews vs 1 like most modern versions of knobs.
