I am a 32 year old ghosthead. I'm married to a BEAUTIFUL non-ghosthead woman and we have two awesome boys that are growing to like Ghostbusters as much as me! I am originally from Pittsburgh PA and New Philadelphia, OH but now live down here. I also enjoy Geocaching and having impromptu adventures.
I bought my suit new from the local army surplus store, Bennett's in Downtown and the patches from online vendors. My pack is what some would consider a "junk pack" but its really made from various materials like the bottom 2 inches of a 5 gallon black bucket for the cyclotron and the motherboard is made using thin plywood. I am currently rebuilding my Proton pack (it got into the hands of my younger son and he damaged it enough to need a rebuild. Am taking this opportunity to rebuild using better construction methods. Once I get done with the pack I need to rebuild my Ecto goggles and then I want to build a Trap that can also hang by the power unit on the proton pack. (I saw a photo from a fellow ghosthead and really like that idea... )
I have seen the 2016 movie. I didn't hate it as much as I thought I would.
