I was an over achiever as a kid. Straight A student, aced the SATs. When I was younger I was that kid that wouldn't shut up about giant squid, spontaneous human combustion, you know, things that seemed reasonable that most people didn't believe in. As I got more informed, and got older, my theories got a little crazier. I've made a few significant contributions to society, but as an adult have become a little less than productive.
I don't care though, my steam engine design saved more money in fuel than I could ever possibly waste.
