Ghostbusters Franchises Across the World

This poster was created for the whoyagonnacall.org [Ghostbusters](/wiki/FAQ/ghostbusters/) Day fanzine in 2025. It features the logo of every single franchise listed on whoyagonnacall.org from its inception to May 16, 2025. The premise of the piece is that Janine is monitoring supernatural "hotspots" around the world (the red circles) and the various franchises around the world that are close enough to tackle them on multiple monitors. Can you figure out what all the hotspots are? Because I actually put thought into that! Some are Real Ghostbusters episode locations, some were from the IDW [comics](/wiki/uncategorized/comics/), some are nods to non-Ghostbusters properties (like the location of Hawkins, IN). I actually tried to sneak a lot of little Easter eggs in this piece. Comment with what you see!

This artwork was created with a combination of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. All of the logos were manually placed on the maps in Illustrator, which was quite an endeavor (I've attached those individual maps here). We worked on the zine from April until June 1st with me putting a little time in here and there on this, so it's difficult for me to gauge exactly how much time I spent on it, but it was a lot!

I was really honored when I found out this would be printed on the other side of the Ghostbusters Give Back announcement spread in the fanzine (put together by myself, Ryan Espin, and tons of collaborators). Official art from Sony on one page of the poster, my art on the other side. Kind of surreal to me!
