Pistol Belt

The belts worn in both films as well as the 2009 video game are U.S. Army WWII M-1936 Pistol Belts. They were light grey in GB1 and khaki in GB2. They hold everything from the Belt Gizmo, MT-500 Radio, and the Ghost Trap Holster, in addition to being a convenient place to hang their black rubber gloves. Various key fobs are worn on the belt to hold equipment such as the Neutrona Wand or Ecto-Goggles. In Ghostbusters II, the belts worn with the dark uniforms (and the battle with Vigo) are custom-made black two-hole pistol belts. The leather key fobs are replaced with nylon straps that have various swivel clasps, D-rings, O-rings, and V-hooks. The Lifegard II PASS Alarms are also worn with these belts.
