Leg Hose
1 min read
For years, fans have debated over what purpose this hose may have served. While its purpose has never been determined, it is known that the hose is a piece of ordinary plastic tubing that was dyed yellow for Ghostbusters and left clear for the suits in Ghostbusters II. The hose is connected to the back of the belt by way of a keyring (identical to those used on the front of the belt). From there, it connects to a rubber fitting just above the knee of the flight suit. This fitting has never been identified, but a large number of look-a-likes have been uncovered and are often used by fans. Although the length of the leg hose should be determined by the height of the person wearing it, the hoses used in the films appear to be around five feet long.
