Andy Garcia

Andy Garcia (born Andres Arturo Garcia Menendez on April 12, 1956, in Havana, Cuba) is a Cuban-born American actor, director, and producer. His family relocated to Miami, Florida after the failed 1961 Bay of Pigs Invasion, and Garcia eventually settled in Los Angeles to pursue acting.

Garcia appeared in Ghostbusters: Answer the Call (2016) as Mayor Bradley, the City of New York official who publicly dismisses the Ghostbusters' work while privately relying on them to contain the paranormal crisis.

Garcia first came to wide attention playing Agent George Stone alongside Sean Connery and Kevin Costner in Brian De Palma's The Untouchables (1987). His performance as Vincent Mancini in Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather Part III (1990) earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor, making him the first Cuban-born actor nominated in an acting category. Further notable credits include Stand and Deliver (1988), Internal Affairs (1990), and the role of casino owner Terry Benedict across Steven Soderbergh's Ocean's trilogy beginning with Ocean's Eleven (2001).
