Chiara Petersen is a Canadian actress with film and television credits spanning the late 2010s and early 2020s. She is known for appearing in projects filmed in western Canada, working across both dramatic and genre productions.
In Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021), Petersen portrayed Burner Girl, a student at Summerville Middle School who attends the summer school science class taught by Gary Grooberson. The character sat at the back of class alongside another student known as Thick Neck, including during the class screening of the film Chucky. Burner Girl also appears in the film's second theatrical trailer in a deleted scene in which a redheaded boy pops a bag of Doritos in Phoebe Spengler's face.
Beyond Ghostbusters, her credits include the FX/Hulu limited series Under the Banner of Heaven (2022), a crime drama based on Jon Krakauer's non-fiction book, as well as the film Sex, Lies and Murder (2018).
