Erik Holland (born Olav Roger Ovregard, May 18, 1933, in Sandnes, Norway; died April 6, 2020, in Studio City, California) was a Norwegian-American character actor whose career spanned five decades. He immigrated to the United States and graduated from Oakland High School in Oakland, California, in 1952. His unassuming everyman quality allowed him to portray a wide range of roles: soldiers, doctors, lawyers, policemen, and both protagonists and antagonists.
Through the 1970s and 1980s, Holland appeared frequently in American television, with credits including The Mod Squad, The Six Million Dollar Man, Wonder Woman, The Bionic Woman, Mission: Impossible, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, and Baywatch. In 1969, he played Ekor in the Star Trek: The Original Series episode "Wink of an Eye." His film credits include Ghostbusters II, the science fiction epic Stargate (1994), and James Cameron's Titanic (1997).
In Ghostbusters II (1989), Holland portrayed the Fire Commissioner of New York City, one of the officials confronting the Ghostbusters during the crisis caused by Vigo the Carpathian.
