Stephanie Faracy (born January 1, 1952, in Brooklyn, New York)1 is an American actress best known for her work in film comedies across four decades, including Heaven Can Wait (1978), The Great Outdoors (1988), Hocus Pocus (1993), and Sideways (2004), as well as her recurring role as Lynn on the Netflix comedy-drama Nobody Wants This (2024).2 She provided a guest voice performance on Extreme Ghostbusters in 1997.

Faracy grew up in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.2 She pursued formal training in acting, earning a degree in English and Drama from Illinois Wesleyan University and later attending Yale School of Drama.1 She began her professional career on the New York stage before transitioning to film and television.
