Plot
The Real Ghostbusters are losing clients to a flashy new rival operation called Spooks Away, which appears to have better equipment, better uniforms, and a better public profile. As the team watches their business evaporate, Ray Stantz volunteers to go undercover inside Spooks Away to find out what is really driving the upstart company's meteoric success. What Ray discovers is something far more dangerous than corporate rivalry: a sinister force is operating behind the scenes, and Spooks Away's advantage may have been stolen from the Ghostbusters' own future. The captured ghosts are eventually released and merge into a massive mega-entity that the team must confront together.
