Slimer! is an American comic book series published by NOW Comics, running from May 1989 through November 1990 for nineteen issues. The series is based on the Slimer! animated segments, which originally aired as part of the third season of The Real Ghostbusters before continuing as Slimer! and the Real Ghostbusters. Each issue typically contained two self-contained comedic stories starring Slimer with the Ghostbusters in supporting roles. Starting in 1990, NOW Comics also included reprinted stories from the Marvel Comics Ltd "The Real Ghostbusters" UK series to pad out later issues. A single special, The Real Ghostbusters 3-D Slimer Special, appeared in July 1993 after the main run had ended.
