The Slob (Character)

The Slob is a ghost that appears in The Real Ghostbusters. It is formed when two ghost brothers, Glob and Sleaze, physically merge into a single entity. Once combined, the Slob is immune to proton streams and can animate surrounding garbage and trash, hurling it at opponents. Separating the brothers back into two distinct ghosts is the only way to neutralize it, allowing each to be trapped individually.
Glob is a large, garbage-loving ghost that crosses into the physical plane during a New York garbage strike on a sweltering summer day. Sleaze is a smaller ghost who had previously been captured by the Ghostbusters and held in their Containment Unit. Glob engineers Sleaze's release by striking a deal with Professor Dweeb, then merges with Sleaze at the Bay Bridge Garbage Dump after both brothers decide they want Slimer for themselves.
