After reading a couple of threads on Janine’s <a href="https://www.gbfans.com/wiki/equipment/other/alarm-button" class="sitemap-autolink sitemap-autolink-content" data-sitemap-autolink="true" data-autolink-type="content" data-autolink-term="alarm button" data-autolink-id="3189">alarm button</a> (nice button builds, BTW), I decided to try and find the firehouse bell itself. It’s a plain Zippo Matte Black #218 with a modified 1-1/4&quot; wide No-Ghost enameled pin bonded to it. I snipped off the pin back, filed it flat and reduced the thickness by about .025 so it wouldn’t stick out too far. Then, masked off the lighter, cut a circle in the mask and grit blasted the paint &hellip;

After a little searching, I finally found a snap hook which looks pretty close to the one in the Reference pics (second row, stacked-up hand shake - look left at the snap body shape). Thanks for the comment. That means a lot coming from a builder with your skills. Yeah it\'s like 95% cardboard. on my progress pic at the end, what\'s brown is cardboard(obviously!). By the way, those goggles of yours are hardcore man.
