Has anybody ever tried to fabricate the colored tube by painting the clear plastic stuff you can get at, say, Lowe’s or Home Depot? If so, how were the results?

Anyone have suggestions for attaching the top-shelf pack components (crank case, gun mount, power cell, etc.) to the motherboard? My plan was to first bolt the backsides of those parts to the motherboard, then glue the components to the backsides. I’m using styrene.

Considering an ALICE frame, which side is the front and which side is the back? In other words, to which side does one attach the motherboard, and which side is against the wearers back?
