Has anyone had experience flying with a proton pack? I know people who have worked the baggage lines and their universal advice is to never check any luggage unless it contains clothes you don’t love. I’ve heard stories about luggage busting competitions. Not good for a proton pack.

I have some spare change. This site’s pack forum has not only made my childhood dream possible, but has also been uber cathartic during a personally turbulent time.

I finished up most of my first wood pack and am pretty unhappy with it. Wood is a pain in the ass for me as I have very infrequent access to saws.
So for the remainder of my pack (the gun mount), I’m just going to use styrene/foamcore. This will work as I’ve found I’m pretty good at getting sharp…

Walgreens is selling really bright, led, battery operated wreath lights - on clearance for 99 cents right now. I picked up 8 sets and they’re PERFECT for the pack. They can blink or be steady.
