This is my Ghostbusters Plasma Series Proton Pack (1984). I am doing some light modifications to replace some stock parts.
I got this pack so I could retire my scratch build that was finished in 2016 (with wand rebuilt in 2021). I'm retiring my scratch build for a few reasons, but weight and wanting to keep my scratch build from unnecessary damage are the main two.
I don't know how but I think the Clippard valves got worse from the Spengler stuff to the 84 stuff IMO. Ah well. I replaced them on my wife's Spengler pack, so it's no surprise they were the first things replaced on this one. Ain't nothin' like the real thing baby.
