Hey all, so the Halloween crunch is on for me and I’m trying to get all my props done in time for an event my group is doing on the 29th. So far I’m farthest along on my trap.

So about a month ago while working on my studio creations shell, which since of you have seen my thread, I decided I wanted to take my pack all the way and purchased the gbfans shell and motherboard. So I gave dyeing my Tru spec a shot last night trying to achieve that nice grey from gb1. I used a tub of hot water, a dye mix of 2 packs of rit pearl grey, 1 cup of salt all dissolved in very hot water. I left it in for 2 hours then washed it like normal. I feel the end result was too dark.
