I have been costuming for a few years but I have generally only worn my costumes once or twice due to changes in popularity of the characters. I really want to start dedicating my time for this hobby to something I can always keep, depend on, improve upon, make new friends through, and even have the pleasure of helping out charities and local events.
I have attended Dragon*Con in Atlanta, GA for the past 3 years and while we want to continue going at some point, my husband and I have decided to forgo it this year (2010).
