Recent viral social media rumors started after a crew dressed in franchise jumpsuits was spotted filming with an ECTO vehicle outside the Paramount Theatre. However, local fan groups and organizers confirmed this was actually a promotional commercial shoot.
The promotional video was shot ahead of the upcoming Ghostbusters in Concert North American Tour, which stops at Seattle's Paramount Theatre on September 19, 2026. The crew seen in the city belongs to the regional fan organizations Pacific Northwest Ghostbusters / Cascadia Paranormal Coalition and the PNW Ecto-360 Foundation, who partnered with the Seattle Theatre Group to film the promo.
