In the last few minutes, the official Facebook, Twitter and instagram accounts for Ghost Corps and the Ghostbusters franchise have been updated with a statement regarding Ghostbusters Day:
We have decided to postpone the Ghostbusters Day celebration scheduled for June 8.

While we know fans have been looking forward to this annual celebration of a beloved and iconic film, it does not feel like the time for celebration right now.

We look forward to sharing the rescheduled date soon.

We'll let you guys know when the event will be going ahead as soon as we hear something.
