Started a forum topic: Trouble with dye and white pistol belts

I have 2 gray pistol belts I made from dyeing white belts and using Jaqcuard silver gray acid dye. I’ve tried it recently on belts and the color just won’t stay. Are there newer/different belts that have a different material and reject color?
