Effective Immediately. No Proxy Posting on GBFans

This should not be any surprise to anyone. Proxy Servers are almost always used to hide who you are, or used to go around a pre-existing ban.

I have found a large number of users all using the same Proxy Service to hide who they are. What makes matters worse is that they all appear to be people who are selling items on GBFans. This raises great concerns for me. How are we susposed to trust who they are, when they don't want to be known? How do we know they are who they say they are? How do we know they aren't the same person?

Effective immediately, all Proxy Servers such as Anonymouse and HideMyAss will be banned from GBFans. If you are currently using them, please remember to turn them off when you get to GBFans. You will be reminded of the ban once you get to the site (if using). Please surf our site using your standard ISP (Comcast, AOL.. etc).

This does not apply to VPN'ing into a work address or school. If your location says you are in California, but your IP address is in Chicago, then there is a problem with that.
