I figured I would start posting the statistics of the site each month to see just how much the site progresses and grows over the next year. Here are some of the key statistics for April 2008.
Total Hits: 5300216
Total Files: 4031768
Total Pages: 410448
Total Visits: 79598
Total Unique Sites: 37171
Total Unique URLs: 36690
Total Unique Referrers: 15306
Here is a breakdown.. There were roughly 37,000 visitors to the site that viewed 410,000 pages. That means on average each visitor viewed 10 pages (this number is horribly skewed.. if you are reading this.. you probably accessed more than 10 pages during the month!). There were 5.3 million hits in April. Roughly 15,000 urls make reference to GBFans (a large amount of these are the old GBProps).
Compare these numbers to 3 years ago when GBProps only recieved ~100,000 hits a month!
The site recieved a 175% boost in visitors compared to March 2008. This is mostly due to the Ecto-1 Restoration photographs, and the site recieving mentions on several large Blogs.
