I figured I would start posting the statistics of the site each month to see just how much the site progresses and grows over the next year. Here are some of the key statistics for May 2008. The red statistics are the difference between this month and the last month.
Total Hits: 4634542 (-665674)
Total Files: 3212795 (-818973)
Total Pages: 398338 (-12110)
Total Visits: 78111 (-1487)
Total Unique Sites: 27955 (-9216)
Total Unique URLs: 36080 (-610)
Total Unique Referrers: 11214 (-4092)
Here is a breakdown.. There were roughly 28,000 visitors to the site that viewed 400,000 pages. That means on average each visitor viewed 14 (+4) pages. There were 4.6 million hits in May. Roughly 11,000 urls make reference to GBFans (a large amount of these are the old GBProps).
Despite having less visitors and hits compared to April, we still increased overall greatly compared to March and April. Compared with March, we increased traffic 150%. This might not be as great as the 175% increase that occured in April (compared to March), but it is still an overall increase. The best increase overall was in registered users! In May, 350 new users signed up for Ghostbusters Fans or about 10 per day (that number is up 4 users per day from normal).
