It took 174 days to go from 13000 users to 14000. This is probably the slowest it has ever taken to gain an extra thousand users. Perhaps we are hitting our carrying capacity? Or there are still a ton of users out there who have not yet registered. Although... we have 36000 unique visitors every month. Whats stopping you guys from signing up!?
We hit the 13000 mark on November 26, 2009.
It took 48 days to go from 12000 users to 13000. GBFans is still going strong, but has slowed down a lot!
We hit the 12000 mark on October 9, 2009.
It took 63 days to go from 11000 users to 12000. GBFans is still going strong, albeit slowing down..
We hit the 11000 mark on August 7, 2009.
It took 38 days to go from 10000 users to 11000. Looks like the growth of GBFans is continuing.
We hit the 10000 mark on June 30, 2009.
It took 41 days to gain the final 1000 users.
We hit the 9000 mark on May 20, 2009.
It took 69 days to gain 1000 users. By that calculation we will hit 10,000 users by July 28th. However.. at the current daily rate we should do this much sooner.. especially with the upcoming release of Ghostbusters the Video Game!
We hit the 8000 mark on March 12, 2009.
We hit 7000 users today.
It took about 5 months to go from 6000 to 7000 and roughly 1500 users have signed up since Ghostbusters Fans reopened in February That's about 6-7 users per day... not too bad Fans!
But lets set a goal that we can all get behind.
By the 25th Anniversary of Ghostbusters, during the release of the Ghostbusters Blu-Ray and the Ghostbusters Video Game... June 2009... I want to see 10,000 registered users on the site.
So lets do it fans. Lets get 10,000 registered users on the site by June 2009. We can do it. We have the numbers, the ability and the power to do it. It is up to YOU GUYS to spread the word.. invite anyone you know who is a fan of Ghostbusters.. who is going to buy the game.. who loves the cartoon... etc.
We would only need to hit an average of about 15 new users per day. I know we have done that in the past on a day to day basis. If all of the active members on the site would invite one or two friends.. I know we could hit that number.
So lets do it. Lets make Ghostbusters Fans the biggest and best Ghostbusters Site on the Internet!
