Atari in conjunction with Intel and Sony are launching a Virtual Ghosthunt game for Facebook and other social networking sites. The game will allow Ghostbusters Fans to earn points for posting ghosts to their profile, finding ghosts on their friends' profiles, and even sending ghosts to infect their friends' profiles and walls. At the end of the competition highest scoring players will be awarded prizes like an Ultimate Gaming PC with a custom Ghostbusters paint job, Intel core i7 chipsets and free copies of the Ghostbusters game. Word on the street is that there will also be ghosts infecting pages here at GBFans too!
In addition the Virtual Ghosthunt game there will also be a Widget that can be posted on any number of social networking sites like MySpace, Facebook, iGoogle, Blogger and more. The Widget will allow you to keep up to date about Ghostbusters the Video Game (and all your friends) with Screenshots, Trailers, and a handy countdown clock for the games release. As soon as we can, Ghostbusters Fans will have code that will allow you to put it on your profile pages and websites. Check back soon!
