We've got a few new details on the brand new comic series from IDW Publishing coming this October. The new comic will be based during about the same time as the new Ghostbusters Video Game (early 90's), and will feature the Ghostbusters in a dark and gritty PG-13 rated world.

Writer Keith Champagne (Green Lantern Corp, The Flash) is joined by artist Tom Nguyen in this new Ghostbusters saga. When the Ghostbusters capture a group of ghostly crooks, they unknowingly run afoul of a gang comprised of the spirits of some of America’s most legendary gangsters. Dead or alive, the mafia knows exactly how to deal with a problem like the Ghostbusters: rub ‘em out!"
The comic will be priced at $3.99, and the first issue has 32 full color pages. Written by Keith Champagne. Drawn by Tom Nguyen. Colored by: Nick Runge. For those of you weary about buying another Ghostbusters Comic, don't worry.. this one is going to be a smash hit.
