Introducing a new way to log into Ghostbusters Fans. Facebook.
With the merger of our login system with Facebook you will be able to quickly login to the site using your Facebook account instead of having to type your username and password. It makes it very simple to login and will eventually give you more access to the site via Facebook.
This is all completely optional. The old system will still be the primary way to log in... and you
will not be abandoning your username or creating a new account. Facebook just makes it easier, and quicker to login and use the site.
To start using Facebook to connect with GBFans, follow these instructions:
If you already have a GBFans Account.
Login to your Ghostbusters Fans account using your username and password.
You will be introduced to a button at the top of the page called "Connect your Facebook Account". Click that button.
You will be given a popup from Facebook that will allow GBFans to access your account information. While it says stuff about posting on your wall and all kinds of stuff. We aren't going to be doing anything like that. We just need your authorization to use the GBFans Application. If you are a new user, all we will be using is your email. Click Allow.
Thats it. Your account is linked. Now instead of using typing your username to login, all you will have to do is click "Login with Facebook".
If you don't have a GBFans Account.
Now is the perfect time to get one. Just go to the regular registration page and click on the "Register with Facebook" link. It will ask you to come up with a username, and then you will be set to go. In the future just login and click the Facebook button (as you will not have a password associated with your username).
