USF Ecto-1 up for Auction at Barrett Jackson on Speed

The original Universal Studios Florida Ecto-1 replica was put up for auction through Barrett Jackson, which aired on the Speed Network. The USF Ecto-1 is one of three officially authorized vehicles to be recognized as an Ecto-1(a). While it was never used in either of the movies as Ecto-1, it did travel around Universal Studios Florida themepark for years. The car was one of the last vehicles auctioned during the show, and fetched $80,000. Not a bad increase from when it was initially offered for sale a year ago

for $35,000. The Arizona Ghostbusters were on hand to take photos from the event which can be seen here.
