This section collects the recurring characters of Slimer! & The Real Ghostbusters, the retooled hour-long version of the series that paired the Ghostbusters cartoon with a lighter "Slimer!" segment built around the team's pet ghost, Slimer.
Alongside the four Ghostbusters, Ray Stantz, Peter Venkman, Egon Spengler, and Winston Zeddemore, with Janine Melnitz back at the firehouse, the Slimer! shorts introduced a wider cast of supporting players and antagonists. These included the Junior Ghostbusters Donald, Catherine, and Jason, the ice cream truck driver Chilly Cooper, the Italian chef Luigi, the Sedgewick Hotel bellboy Bud and its grumpy manager Morris Grout, and the mad scientist Professor Dweeb with his poodle Elizabeth. Animal foils such as Manx the alley cat and Bruiser the neighborhood dog rounded out Slimer's world.
