In the Firehouse kitchen, Winston Zeddemore is appalled by the state of the room. Peter Venkman and Ray Stantz are unconcerned and keep eating their sandwiches. When Egon Spengler opens the refrigerator he finds Slimer inside; Egon notes that a kitchen renovation would be expensive. Once the team leaves, Slimer daydreams about doing the remodeling himself and receiving four pizzas as a reward.
Outside, Professor Dweeb and Elizabeth are parked in their van, hatching a plan. Dweeb places a crank call that sends the Ghostbusters out in Ecto-1, leaving Slimer alone. Dweeb straps on his Propeller Belt and flies toward the kitchen window while Slimer struggles to hang a roll of wallpaper. Slimer nails the paper down, and the freed nails destroy Dweeb's propeller; a backup parachute pops out but more ricocheting nails puncture it as well.
Dweeb's next attempt uses a High Wire Bike: Elizabeth rides a tightrope strung across the building while Dweeb hangs below in a harness. Dweeb deploys his Lead Lined Clutches and grabs Slimer, but a roll of wallpaper falls to the street. Slimer stretches down to catch it, inadvertently launching Dweeb and Elizabeth away. They land on a moving doughnut billboard.
Undeterred, Dweeb stuffs a canister of helium inside a turkey and presents it to the kitchen window via the van's retractable lift. Slimer smells it and swallows the turkey whole. The helium inflates Slimer like a balloon and he floats out of the window. Dweeb lassoes him, but Slimer keeps rising and carries both Dweeb and Elizabeth upward. Eventually Slimer burps, and all three crash back into the kitchen. The impact tears the wallpaper loose, covering Dweeb completely. Elizabeth bites Dweeb and they tumble out onto the van below, which is promptly towed away for illegal parking.
Slimer is left with bare walls and only a single strip of wallpaper when Ecto-1 returns. The Ghostbusters love the new look and Winston says Slimer deserves a pizza. Slimer demands four. When Egon offers turkey, Slimer declines, telling them it gives him gas.
Ray Stantz also appears. The recording sessions took place on June 29, 1988, with a second session on July 6, 1988; Jeff Altman (Professor Dweeb) recorded his lines separately on July 6.
Professor Dweeb is the self-described nemesis of Slimer and the recurring antagonist throughout the Slimer! segment series. He voices grandiose plans but his contraptions consistently backfire. In this episode he deploys three separate devices against Slimer: the Propeller Belt, a High Wire Bike/harness rig with Lead Lined Clutches, and a helium-stuffed turkey.
Elizabeth is Dweeb's poodle, voiced by Danny Mann. Despite her small size she assists Dweeb in his capture schemes, and bites him whenever his inventions go wrong. This episode is one of her recurring appearances across the Slimer! series.
The episode is set entirely at the Firehouse, primarily the second-floor kitchen.
